Collector plates began as a Scandinavian winter tradition that migrated to Germany and then the United States, where they became a fixture of the post-war home. Some plates depicted nature scenes or local events, while others honored artists, thinkers, and leaders.
The tradition lives on in this beautiful reproduction of the painting “A Wind to Shake the Stars” as an 8.5 inch-diameter ceramic coupe plate. Each plate is manufactured in America and include a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, Brandon Bird (if you want art made and signed by Val Kilmer, you should visit valkilmer.com).
A very limited quantity of plates still remain and are ready to ship, but once they're gone, they're gone for good.
