Just to state the obvious: I know that Kira is her family name and Nerys is her given name, but the reference I was looking at when painting this had "Nerys" on the back of her shirt, and in the interest of accuracy I didn't change it. Later I found other stills that showed "Kira" on the back of her shirt, so I guess someone on the DS9 crew also realized the error and they changed it midway through filming.
